Different Ways to Use CBD
As the popularity of medical CBD continues to grow around the world, more and more people are discovering the vast benefits of CBD-based products. Unlike THC, CBD doesn't cause any psychoactive effects when ingested, only providing the benefits. While smoking CBD has traditionally been the most common method of consumption, concerns around the health implications of smoking have created a demand for alternative methods. Luckily, there are now several other effective ways to use CBD that don't involve smoking. While smoking may provide quicker effects, the risks associated with smoking make other methods more desirable for many people.
SO, WHAT ARE THE OTHER WAYS YOU CAN USE CBD?
Topically
The topical application method involves directly applying CBD to the affected area for quick relief from sore muscles, joint aches, arthritis, and to nourish the skin. Similar to how you use regular lotion, you apply a small amount of the CBD product and massage it onto the affected area. On average, it takes about 30 minutes for the CBD to take effect, and its effects can last for up to four hours.
Orally
Oral administration is a simple and discreet method of consuming CBD. There are several ways to take CBD orally, such as gummy bears, lollipops, mints, or our proprietary Soft Gels. Soft gels are a preferred option since they do not leave any aftertaste and get digested within minutes, producing a more extended effect that lasts for up to 8 hours.
Sublingually with a Tincture
Sublingual application is a simple way to take CBD oil. Using a dropper, a small amount of the CBD oil is placed under the tongue and held for about a minute before swallowing the rest. This method allows for faster absorption of the CBD, and the effects can be felt more quickly than with other edible products. Tinctures are a popular form of CBD oil for sublingual application, as they come in a liquid form with a dropper for easy dosing.
